With a 90-minute fire rating these lights keep functioning during the event of a fire for up to 90 minutes. They also feature an intumescent layer that acts as a sealant, which swells when heated in fire temperatures to cover any gaps created in the ceiling by fitting recessed lights. This ensures smoke and fire can't get through to the area above. Our modern lights are fitted with LED bulbs for illumination that is durable and energy efficient.
