Who loves DIYSOS? Late last year Litecraft were contacted by interior designer Sophie Robinson. With a request to help donate a selection of lighting for BBC One's DIYSOS programme. As a result, we didn't hesitate with our answer. More importantly, we were honoured to be asked to be involved in such a great programme. As a result, we supplied a collection of Table Lamps for the Big Build. A truly deserving family, Garry and Kyle have taken on four children. 3 of which have complex special needs. Sadly, their small bungalow had become a cramped space that was unfit for four growing children. Consequently, the children needed their own rooms and more space for their medical equipment. That's where the DIYSOS team came in. In an amazing episode the team have no choice but to completely demolish the bungalow. Furthermore, rebuild a new state of the art home for the family in just 9 days. With the help of interior designer Sophie Robinson the team created a big, spacious home. Fitted with an array of gadgets to help with each child's special needs. Including clever optical ceiling projectors. Specialist beds and even a rise and fall bath with ceiling hoist.

Litecraft supplied a selection of table lamps for the children's bedrooms. As well as our limited edition Arc floor lamp for the main living area. The house was filled with an abundance of colour and pattern. Including our funky Giant Bulb Table Lamp in Red for Haydn's bedroom. And our White Maya Table Lamp for Isobella's bedroom. The amount of colour together with the new special medical equipment would ensure the kids and their dads had a fun, healthy and uplifting living space.
