Litecraft's Mid Century Floor Lamp on the cover of Your Home Magazine March 2018

Our beautiful Mid Century Floor Lamp features on the cover of the March issue of Your Home Magazine this month. Homeowner Amy Davies Pereira tells Your Home Magazine how she conquered her fear of colour by introducing a feature chimney breast with a new wallpaper design and added gold and brass accessories including our Mid Century Floor Lamp.

Amy created a cosy and warm atmosphere by squeezing in as many table and floor lamps as possible including marquee lights and twinkling fairy lights. Candles are also a great way to add warmth as well as depth.

The room is filled with ochre and gold accents including beautiful bee designs and an aptly designed pear wallpaper which Amy fell in love with as her surname translates to Pear tree in Portuguese. Grey tones can also be seen in Amy's living room which works perfectly with the gold as well as accentuating the smoke glass of our Mid Century Floor Lamp.

Our Mid Century Range is the epitome of Mid Century Modern design. A smoked glass shade in a cylinder form with a classic brass lever arm and stem. This fairly new range is also available in table lamp form as well as two ceiling light options, a 5 light and a 1 light pendant. Amy has positioned Our Mid Century Floor lamp in the alcove area of her living room just to the side of the chimney breast. this is a great spot to position a floor lamp as it will highlight often forgotten areas such as corners of the home and alcoves. Adding a floor lamp in the corner of a room will instantly create a cosy reading nook feel and with the adjustable lever arm our Mid Century Floor Lamp will give a practical light when reading or doing work. Dotting lights around the room will create a great balance whilst also adding depth and contrast. We think Amy's done a great job of introducing colour to her lounge, a lovely mixture of spring and summer tones really brightens up the room.
