You might have one of these lovely chains in your home city, but Birmingham's is a little extra special, boasted as being a flag ship bar it's situated on the trendy canal-side development of Brindley Place. Set on the canal bank in a square amongst other equally trendy bars and restaurants Pitcher and Piano greets you with a beautiful red brick arched entrance and gold lettering which welcomes you in. Parasols and outdoor seating fills up the exterior whilst a practical terrace stretches out from the second floor and lush green foliage pours through  creating a warmth organic feel.

Once inside a miss mash of décors fills the room, restored wood mingles with industrial pendants whilst traditional crystal chandeliers flirt next to subway style wall tiles, large scale wall art, mirrors and picture frames litter the walls above intimate booth seating. The bar is dressed with vintage style pendant shades giving a nostalgic homely vibe. This mix of interiors creates a funky eclectic feel which is very popular at the moment, it gives the establishment a laid-back and friendly ambience.

This look is very easy to replicate, just choose pieces from all different styles and interiors and mingle them together,  retro, vintage, industrial and country restoration are the key elements to get the look. Stick to a neutral colour palette for the walls such as pastel green and grey but add hints of pattern on selected walls for pops of colour. Add comfy leather seating for a warmer vibe.
