Consequently, this years hue has been announced and it goes to the yummy pink red shade named Marsala. Furthermore, this shade has been inspired by using the earthy and rich hue of Marsala wine. As a result, this years colour is warm, inviting and perfect for the winter months and will definitely warm up chilly interiors . More so, we love this years colour choice, it’s extremely versatile.

Lots of colour in a home can be slightly overwhelming, it’s definitely for the brave and Marsala is no exception. Choose an accent wall, chimney breast or alcove and paint or wallpaper the area for a touch of Marsala. If you are feeling adventurous, choose a small room such as a snug or small office and get brave with your paint brush, paint all the walls for extra wow factor. If you like the shade but feel it would overwhelm your home interiors then choose an accent of Marsala on a cushion or ornament.
