To coincide with the launch of this new range we’ll be looking at yesterday’s featured home and showing you how to recreate the vintage glam’ trend in your own bathroom.
The bathroom is Victoria’s pride and joy, the vintage vibe goes back to the Victorian era in this room. “It’s the first room we refurbished and it’s the only room that we completely gutted and redesigned as I wanted it to be perfect, I’ve always wanted a roll top bath too as again it epitomises vintage and classic trends.” Victoria explains.
Victoria chose a stunning Victorian style bathroom suite including a beautiful Victorian radiator. She chose to include hints of Royal blue and vintage green even including stunning blue coloured floor tiles for extra character.
To accessorise the room add vintage bottles or perfume dispensers together with classic shaped soap trays. Victoria’s old green bottles were found at a car boot sale and she found an old flat iron at a second hand shop and used it as a quirky door stop.
Hang an assortment of picture frames together for a unique wall feature, Victoria found these simple yet attractive frames at a car boot sale and bought some vintage style renaissance printed paper. “I wanted to cover the whole wall but I was advised not to, so I decided to create this little feature instead.” Victoria added a vintage framed mirror to complete the look.
